The best part about the rolling in the mod is it provides Invincibility frames as well, so if a dragon shouts right at you, you can actually roll right through it and take no damage.
You can roll in four direction and adjust stamina cost, it also has a light roll, medium roll, and fat rolling just like in Dark Souls. I play with a controller but if you play with KB & Mouse your experience may differ.Īs for mods if you want to get close to similar atmosphere you might have to do a little digging on the nexus to find what you want, however, the uploader of that video does give you some good examples of what mod you should download to catch the atmosphere of it. I tried lock-on, while I'll admit it is good it's not even remotely neccessary, controls kinda feel clunky imo when it comes to target switching.
